Small Business Improvement Fund Explained Representatives from SomerCor504 explained the City's Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) to business and commercial property owners within the 111th & Kedzie TIF District at a breakfast meeting December 12th. Approval of over $400,000 in free grant money is anticipated. The money can be used to make a wide variety of upgrades and repairs, as well as to purchase adjacent property for expansion or parking.
